The Service Technician is responsible for general repairs and maintenance of our customer’s equipment while delivering an exceptional customer service experience. This may include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal and reinstallation of complex components with the help of proper manuals, parts reuse evaluation, equipment reconditioning and detailed documentation of repairs.

Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
Perform general and detailed repairs for chassis, engines and auxiliary systems.
Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, transmission repair and other major components.
Diagnose vehicle symptoms to determine root failure then plan and execute needed repairs.
Identify safety concerns including loose bolts, defective signaling components and drivability issues.
Lubricate serviceable parts then verify vehicle operation to meet DOT standards.
Label and return all warranty parts to the warranty clerk.
Complete all training and utilize technical service bulletins.
Develop and maintain professional relations with all customers.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience as a Class 7 & 8 truck technician
