Job Description

PacLease is a premier provider of quality products and services to commercial equipment users. We are looking to add to our team, an experienced technician with a minimum of three to five years as a diesel mechanic.*CDL license required and will be working a split shift of 10:00am to 7:00PM.

Our Mechanics work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with numerous opportunities for growth.

They are prompt, professional and highly skilled. They can assist in many different onsite truck repairs and troubling shooting.

This can include: cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal of parts and attachments. Installation, report writing, disassembly, assembly and parts reuse evaluation.

The hours for this position are 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  2. Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
  3. Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
  4. Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
  5. Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk.
  7. Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current and valid Driver’s License
  • Must have a CDL and Medical card as required by the FMVS.
  • Must have 3-5 years’ experience as a Class 6, 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical ability is necessary.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
